React Right is SSI’s first aid, CPR and oxygen training program, and Global Scuba offers it to both divers and non‑divers.

What is React Right?

React Right teaches you how to respond calmly and correctly in medical emergencies, including first aid, CPR, oxygen administration, and AED use.

What You Learn
  • Primary Assessment: Check breathing and responsiveness.
  • First Aid Skills: Treat common injuries and shock.
  • CPR (All Ages): Give effective compressions and breaths.
  • AED Basics: Use a defibrillator quickly and safely.
  • Oxygen Administration: Deliver emergency oxygen when needed.
Requirements & Logistics

  • Minimum age: Around 12–15 years.

  • Prerequisites: No diving certification required.

  • Duration: 8–12 hours total training.

  • Training style: Online theory plus practice.

  • Certification: Valid 2 years, refresher.
